At the Catholic Labor Network, kudos for Archbishop Blase Cupich and the Archdiocese of Chicago for setting out a groundbreaking policy on family leave. At Breitbart, which is to conservative politics what Pravda was to the communist party, Mr., formerly Rev., Thomas Williams, (who is one of those people who feels the need to put initials after his name even when writing at Breitbart!) complains about the stunningly honest and empathetic statement by Bishop Robert Lynch after the massacre in Orlando. I think Breitbart is a good place for Williams to be writing: They deserve each other. As for me, I wish there were more bishops with the courage and the compassion of Bishop Lynch.
