Business Development Sales Representative (full- or part-time)

Responsible for opening new sales opportunities to dioceses and parishes in the assigned geography as well as maintaining and growing existing accounts. 


-The primary face of RENEW to the Diocesan and Parish communities

-As a member of the sales team, shape and mold strategies for current and future growth in your territory

-Grow sales and deliver services to existing customers

-Achieve revenue goals in assigned territories while adding value for customers

-Work with the Sales Director and other members of the Sales and Marketing Team to forecast new opportunities

-Seek customer feedback and interface with other RENEW teams to provide feedback for current and potential products/processes

-Be responsible for expense management and timely reporting of expenses incurred

-Develop expertise on our mission and products/services

-Organize, facilitate, deliver, and implement presentations onsite and via webinars

-Foster long-term relationships; build rapport and cooperative relationships with prospects and customers; take immediate action to meet their needs and concerns

-Identify new or emerging needs for parishes or dioceses that might be fulfilled by other RENEW services

-Build productive working relationships with both internal and external customers through effective, organized and timely communications

Participating in RENEW community life through staff meetings, retreats, training, faith sharing, and compliance activities as requested.

Preparing and submitting documentation for work, expenses, etc. in keeping with RENEW procedures.

Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:

-Practicing Catholic with a solid knowledge and understanding of Catholic theology and the Church’s positions on doctrine, faith traditions, and social teaching

-Experience in day-to-day sales operations and reporting; knowledge of Salesforce a plus

-Four-year college degree required; 2 to 5 years sales experience preferred

-Thorough knowledge of RENEW services, practices, and procedures

-Strong interpersonal and presentation skills

-Ability to work independently with diverse internal and external teams, primarily remotely, under supervision

-Demonstrated success in communicating effectively including in-person and virtual presentations; clear, welcoming, and non-technical language

-Ability to absorb and understand complex information

-Experience in communications with internal and external audiences, including reports, presentations, and correspondence

-Flexibility to travel and work according to client schedules which may require some weekends or evenings

-Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), and Salesforce
