Federal budget 'math' from The New Yorker

Jonathan Chait over at The New Yorker has a story on how the House Republicans' math doesn't add up. The gist of the article concludes that the Republicans' budget proposal would find savings from federal programs that help the poor and sick.

"So we're looking at close to a 90 percent spending cut on programs for the poor and sick," Chait writes.

Chait's story links to The Washington Post story that outlines where the budget cuts would come from. You can read it here.
