On this day full of lament and hope, we will gather to pray and contemplate the goodness and the groaning of creation, listening for God’s Spirit. What invitation do you hear? How does that stirring of the Holy Spirit connect with your vocation? What practices might help you enter more fully into the cry of the earth and the cry of the poor as one? Participants will be invited to pray with two short readings in advance of the retreat, and we will have an opportunity to share our reflections together. The retreat is organized by Margaret Pfeil, associate teaching professor of moral theology and Christian ethics in the Department of Theology and Center for Social Concerns at the University of Notre Dame.
