The Kansas City Plant's Main Manufacturing Building, pictured May 16, 2019, is under demolition by a private developer. According to the Library of Congress, it was approximately 3 million square feet and constructed in less than nine months, and it "demonstrated the utility and economy of [architect Albert] Kahn's 'Warspeed' concept and concrete arches."
