Our big news today: There's a draft out of  a proposed new apostolic constitution, which, among other things, downgrades the once all-powerful Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith in favor of a new streamlined evangelization bureau charged with attracting followers by considering the "fundamental questions" of our era. Q & A with artist Lexa Walsh, who sculpted sisters from her past: "I lived in an anarchist collective in the Czech Republic for eight years before I went to grad school. I can look back now and see how it relates. At the time, I thought, 'I'm just living my politics.' But actually, I started living communally when I was born by being in a big Catholic family. I'm the youngest of 15. We worked collaboratively together as a family."
