Vatican, Notre Dame launch academic alliance to find solutions to ecological crises

The Global Alliance for Laudato Si', inspired by Pope Francis' 2015 encyclical on ecology, was officially formed during a March meeting of almost 100 scientists, researchers and environmental activists.
