Dewy Sacayan

Dewy is a litigation lawyer by day and a climate activist by night. After project managing a relief mission in the aftermath of super typhoon Haiyan, Dewy started working on disaster management in the Philippines, Japan and New Zealand, as well as grassroots campaigns for climate action. She participated in the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change COP negotiations, sold electric vehicles via Tesla, and campaigned for the Zero Carbon Bill through Generation Zero. As a young lawyer and environmental activist, she is passionate about leveraging her legal background to implement and enforce Aotearoa’s environmental commitments.
