She is co-founder of Spirit Fire and vice president of Healing and Recovery Ministries at St. Edmund's Retreat on Enders Island, Mystic, Connecticut.

Luis Torres' naive faith inspired him to help fellow abuse survivors

The co-founder of a ministry to abuse survivors recalls a friend who struggled with depression but never lost his faith. Luis A. Torres Jr. died March 30 at the age of 58.
