In Laudato Si’, Pope Francis famously wrote, "A commitment this lofty cannot be sustained by doctrine alone, without a spirituality capable of inspiring us." As we enter into a new year, all are welcome to join the Catholic Climate Covenant young adult community for Ecospirituality Nights, a multi-month virtual series exploring the spiritual foundations of our work for climate justice.
The first event in our series will take place Jan. 31 from 7:30-8:30 p.m., Eastern, and will feature Christina Leaño, Associate Director of Laudato Si' Movement, who will be sharing her thoughts on mindfulness as it relates to ecological spirituality and action for climate justice. Sign up here:
These events will feature live English-Spanish interpretation.
Young adults aged 18-39 are invited to join Christina Leaño for an intimate follow-up conversation to this keynote on Feb. 21 from 7:30-8:30 p.m. ET. Registration for the young adult conversations is available here: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZAoc-mvqzwsH9T6c6625DF2tEz1dR48qWqs.
And stay tuned for registration information for upcoming events in the series, including our March keynote with Sr. Joan Brown, Executive Director of New Mexico Interfaith Power and Light.
