Season of Creation Training: How to Engage Our Church Leaders for Climate Action

Tuesday, August 31, 2021
3 p.m. Eastern Time

How should you approach your bishop, priest, and other church leaders on climate and care for creation issues? Learn key steps, get simple engagement resources to use now!

In this training you will learn more about the Climate Action Letter for Catholic Institutions (open to Catholic institutions, organizations, religious communities to sign), and you will learn step by step how you can faithfully and positively engage your bishop and other leaders to spark bold creation care and climate action. You will walk away with key skills, simple engagement resources and handouts to begin using this Season of Creation and beyond.

The training will highlight best practices and tools to secure institutional Catholic signatures for the Climate Action Letter, and to promote support for long-term creation care work. While we will focus on engaging our bishops, the strategies and resources you learn can help you connect with your parish priest or other Catholic leaders whose support is essential to our continued faithful climate action!
