An Intergenerational Catholic Initiative for the 5th Anniversary of Laudato Si’ and 50th Anniversary of Earth Day

The webinar will describe the vision and goals of the new U.S. Catholic Climate Project, explain how Catholics of all ages can collaborate to galvanize action, organize activities around Earth Day on April 22nd (ED50), and the 5th Anniversary of Laudato Si’ on May 24 (LS5), and especially inspire Catholic youth and young adults to guide/lead this transformational effort. Presenters: Paul Jarzembowski, Youth and Young Adult Ministries, Secretariat of Laity, Marriage, Family Life and Youth, United States Catholic Conference of Bishops Kayla Jacobs, Director of Programs, Laudato Si’ Ministries, Roman Catholic Diocese of Joliet Lauren DeSmit, Bon Secours Young Adults Core Team member This is a unique opportunity for the U.S. Catholic Church to rise up in solidarity and accompaniment with the youth of the world.
