Sacred Heart Seminary and School of Theology (Franklin, WI) is taking applications for a full-time Human Formation Advisor, to serve as an Associate Director of Formation within our program of Priestly Formation which presents an integrated approach across the four dimensions (Spiritual, Human, Pastoral and Intellectual). The mission of Sacred Heart Seminary and School of Theology is preparing evangelizing disciples through specialized formation to conform our world to the Heart of Christ.
The Associate Director of Formation serves as an important member of the weekly Formation Team meetings. Ministerial accompaniment of seminarians in the Discipleship or Configuration Stage includes bi-weekly one-to-one meetings, participation in weekly Wednesday sessions on ordained priesthood and servant-leadership, present annual seminarian evaluations to the faculty, and be an active presence to the seminary community including participation at Faculty Council meetings and special events hosted by Sacred Heart.
Eligible candidates must be Roman Catholic priests in good standing, with a minimum Master’s degree or equivalent (MDiv/MA/STB); have priestly formation experience and/or formal training in priestly formation (diocesan or religious); and have a letter from either their bishop or religious superior granting them permission to pursue this position and testifying to their good standing.
The position begins in July 2023.
