Owensboro Bishop William F. Medley in a recent letter asked all 78 parishes to take up a special collection and to be "as generous as possible" in responding to the floods on the other side of the state.
Sr. Myrna Tordillo expressed her hope for the participants at the National Catholic Burmese-American Conference in Owensboro: "That they continue to live the faith, with the hierarchy and with their faith communities."
