John Waters is a clinical associate professor of English at New York University and member of Contract Faculty United at NYU. Waters' father was a Catholic social justice lawyer at St. John's and was among the founders of the American Association of University Professors chapter at St. John's University in Queens, New York.

St. John's University leadership must heed lessons of past

"It's not too late for the leadership at St. John's to do the right thing, to heed the lessons of the past and stop breaking things, and, most importantly, to adhere to its professed Catholic values," says John Waters.
