At a time when the United States is engaging in the largest buildup of our nuclear arsenal since the Cold War, and when we are increasing the risk of nuclear war with not only Russia but also China, we would do well to learn from Archbishop Raymond Hunthausen, who died in July 2018 and whose 100th birthday would be Aug. 21.
