Tim O'Donnell's writing career began in radio and TV news at CBS stations in Los Angeles and Chicago before transitioning into writing and directing TV series, including "Diff'rent Strokes," "Growing Pains," "Dave's World," "Clueless," "Lizzy McGuire," "The Amanda Show" and "Army Wives." He served on the WGA board of directors and on two previous negotiating committees.
