Rick Hertzberg, at The New Yorker, not only takes on the filibuster, but usefully reminds people who tend to pay homage to the Federalist Papers as if they were Sacred Writ, that they were op-eds written by men who sometimes did not even believe in the arguments they were making. As always with Hertzberg, crisp writing and incisive thinking.
