Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good ran an article this week in their Common Good Forum from Sheriff Mark Curran, who makes the case that immigration reform is essential to building the trust law enforcement officials need with the communities they protect. This had not occurred to me but the point is compelling and appears quite obvious the moment it is raised. Kudos to the sheriff.
