Who knew that Martin Marty was such a fan of the pipe organ? This short commentary tells us about more than his love for the King of Instruments. Ot speaks to the diverse ways we humans encounter the divine. One of several money quotes: "Used as we are talking about millions and billions, Superbowl this and Olympic-sized that, we can be tempted to speak of “religion” as one big thing, and thus something easy to dismiss if any part of it fails us, or to fasten on “mega-“ this or that, and to miss much of value."
