Note to Readers

Admit it. Even if you are one of the people who gets all riled up when I write, you love getting riled up. I do my best to keep the conversation here at NCR provocative, even a little edgy at times. Now, we need you to do your part.

If NCR is a part of your day, chip in and help keep it going. There is no better Catholic website in America, with a greater range of views, more in-depth reporting, analysis and commentary, than NCR. The week of the conclave, I went to another Catholic website and they had a few new items. We had a few new items every hour! Hell, even one of the cardinals admitted that he was learning about the papabile from John Allen's profiles!

No website has done a better job covering the controversial HHS mandate, nor has any website been a better forum for all the many impassioned discussions of that controversy. My colleague Jerry Filteau has forgotten more about the USCCB than most reporters ever learned.
