Catholic Near East Welfare Association publishes annual report

 |  NCR Today

Last month, I interviewed Msgr. John Kozar, president of the Catholic Near East Welfare Association, a few days before he joined Pope Benedict XVI in Lebanon.

In March, I interviewed Kozar about his new role at CNEWA.

On Friday, CNEWA published its 2011 annual report, and it's worth the time to read and reflect on its important work.  CNEWA is a "jewel in the Church's crown," as the saying goes, and needs to be better known to U.S. Catholics.
