Faith communities are building power for climate action. Join us Friday, October 15 at noon for a conversation on how faith communities organize around environmental concerns, including helping launch the environmental justice movement. Local and national faith leaders will discuss what is working in faith organizing and what lessons faith communities can teach the broader climate movement. Dr. Willie James Jennings of the Yale Divinity School, a professor and prominent theologian, will moderate a panel that includes the Rev. Dr. Ambrose Carroll, Sr., CEO of Green the Church; the Rev. Meyaard-Schaap, vice president of the Evangelical Environmental Network; and Gabby Trejo, executive director of Sacramento ACT (Area Congregations Together).
