Speaking of the summit, Jefferson City, Missouri, Bishop W. Shawn McKnight tells NCR, "The validity and the success of the summit will depend on the concrete outcomes,"  McKnight, 50, said he believes action is necessary. "Right now that's what people want to see." He and other newer, younger bishops sound off about accountability.
