Let's call the next round of campaign finance measures McCain-Feingold-Bergoglio: Pope Francis calls for elections that are not funded by private sources. He just keps trying to endear himself to American conservatives in advance of his visit.

And, if that were not bad enough, he is going to wash the feet of some women again this Holy Thursday! When Pope Francis first washed the feet of women, conservative critics suggested he had to or it would have seemed odd, even rude, given the demographic of the prison. But, this time, Holy Thursday Mass is in an all-male prison and the women will be brought in from a nearby prison. I think he is trying to tell us something, yes?

AP is suing the State Department for access to Hillary Clinton's emails. When Mrs. Clinton tweeted that she wanted everyone to see her emails, she unintentionally made a big mistake: The emails are not hers. Drip, drip, drip. This controversy is not going away. It raises issues of trust or competence or both.
