Brilliant satire in the New Yorker, taking on Hillary Clinton's announcement video. Just hilarious.
America's "most beautiful neighborhoods"? I am not rich enough to walk through any of these neighborhoods, let alone buy a house there. But, the weird thing is that the photos do not show any people. I think my neighborhood is more beautiful than any of these precisely because of the smiling faces I encounter when I walk my dogs. So what if the sidewalks need repair?
In my morning post, I said today was a "happy day" for the good people of San Diego. That brought to mind this scene from "Sister Act II" - no word on whether Whoppi Goldberg will be leading the choir today.
