At CNS a story and video with Professor Stephen Schneck as he steps down as director of the Institute for Policy Research & Catholic Studies at Catholic University. Schneck is truly one of the foremost Catholic thinkers in the country, and one of the nicest human beings you would ever want to meet. His loss to the university is a very, very large one. 

At Commonweal, John Gehring interviews Dan Misleh, executive director of the Catholic Climate Covenant.

In the Washington Post, Dan Balz warns House Republicans that they need to start worrying about how they are linked to President Trump. Balz also looks at the disturbing fact that there are so few genuine swing districts anymore, pointing to the need for nonpartisan drawing of district lines.
