The latest polls in Nevada and South Carolina, the third and fourth states to vote in next year's presidential nominating process, show Donald Trump with a commanding lead. That fact is linked to Rep. Paul Ryan's reluctance to take the Speaker's gavel.
A petition calling on the synod fathers to just walk out. Having coddled the crazies on the right for a long time, even the conservative bishops have to wonder what they have wrought. Maybe they should give John Boehner a call.
