Silk on Values Voter Summit

Mark Silk, at Spiritual Politics, notes that Mitt Romney will speaking just before Bryan Fischer of the American Family Association at this weekend's Value Voters Summit. Of course, in Fischer's twisted worldview, the only families that count are Christian families.

Silk has put his finger on an issue that warrants Catholic attention to. Whatever you think of Romney, and I don't think much, the anti-Mormon attacks on him are despicable. There are good reasons to vote for Romney and good reasons to vote against him, but being Mormon does not fall into either category.
