Brett C. Hoover teaches pastoral and practical theology at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles where he also directs graduate programs in theology and pastoral theology.  He is the author of The Shared Parish: Latinos, Anglos, and the Future of US Catholicism (NYU Press, 2014) andComfort: An Atlas for the Body and Soul (Riverhead, 2011).

Daily Easter Reflections: Imagining God in any form remains a tricky business. The cartoonist, blogger and former Pentecostal pastor David Hayward — who goes by the amusing moniker of "naked pastor" — developed a cartoon I often use teaching university theology classes.
