Karen E. Park is a writer, professor, and historian of American Catholicism whose work explores religion and public life. She is co-editor of American Patroness: Marian Shrines and the Making of U.S. Catholicism (Fordham University Press, 2024). Her essays and reporting have appeared in National Catholic Reporter, Religion News Service, Religion Dispatches, America, Sojourners and the Los Angeles Review of Books. She publishes the newsletter "Ex Voto."
