Catholic nun film critic finds grace at the movies

 |  NCR Today

The headline should read NCR's Catholic nun and film critic finds God's grace at the movies.

Sr. Rose Pacette, our film reviewer, is the subject of an interview with the Arts & Faith page of the Loyola Press website. My favorite quote:

“For a Daughter of St. Paul, the Word of God and the sacraments are paramount, especially the Eucharist,” she says. “That cinema especially has a sacramental quality, with its ability to make the unseen visible, bonds my ministry as a Daughter of St. Paul with film criticism and commentary and other media as well.”
