Much has been written about the survey conducted by the College Republicans that shows the GOP has some problems on its hands, but this item, picked up at the Maddow Blog, may be the most challenging for the party is this: When asked to name leaders of the Democratic Party, the respondents mentioned Obama, Clinton, Gore, Kennedy, Pelosi, all elected officials. When asked who are the most prominent leaders of the GOP, the respondents most frequently named Bill O'Reilly, Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck. These men are interested in ratings, not governance.
