Alan Grayson's fall from grace invites delectatio morosa. I cannot think of a better example of an illiberal liberal than Grayson. 

Learning more about Sen. Tim Kaine, this article by Ben Wittes at Brookings, treating Kaine's work on the authorization for the use of force, shows a public servant who is a workhorse not a show horse and who is not afraid to work with anyone to try and get something done. And, not unimportantly, he was right on the merits.
