Pope Francis poses for a 'selfie'

By now you have probably heard that Pope Francis posed obligingly this past week for a "selfie."  A "selfie" is a photo taken of oneself by a hand held Iphone or other digital camera. The photo did not appear on the pontiff's Twitter site.  Meanwhile, Francis' Twitter account has an astounding 2,899,561 followers. That's more than NCR's John L. Allen and Josh McElwee together.
