Papal organs possibly too holy for the common faithful

The Vatican has said that under no circumstances can Pope Benedict's organs be harvested for medical purposes. Before he was pope Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger carried a organ donor card - but Vatican officials have said it became invalid upon his papal election.

Apparently the pro life ethic goes only so far.
