Stephanie Yeagle has been named managing editor of the National Catholic Reporter Publishing Company, effective May 1. Yeagle previously served as NCR managing editor. In this expanded role, she is responsible for coordinating and managing content for NCR, Global Sisters Report and EarthBeat.

"This new role will enable greater coordination and cooperation between the three publications," said Gail DeGeorge, GSR editor. "Stephanie will assist GSR with its mission of being a dynamic online community that reports on and gives voice to women religious around the world."

Yeagle joined NCR in December 2013 as managing editor and has been responsible for digital and print content, social media and multimedia, a podcast, e-newsletters and the most recent redesign of the print issue and company websites.

"I'm grateful for Stephanie's organizational and managerial skills in the newsroom and look forward to her expanded responsibilities benefiting the entire company," said Heidi Schlumpf, NCR's executive editor and vice president.

"I'm looking forward to this new challenge and working more closely with GSR and EarthBeat," Yeagle said. "The best part of my new role is being a part of three publications whose missions align closely with my personal and professional goal of giving a voice to the voiceless with great journalism."
